Professional ULKA Espresso Pump (15 Bar)

For people who may not know, a ULKA espresso pump (15 bar) releases fine crema from the coffee powder, which is ground up in the conical grinder. The crema is the foam or froth which is formed on top of the coffee as it brews. The ULKA espresso pump allows a quick extraction or a unique blend overall. The conical grinder is integrated into the espresso machine and grinds the coffee beans up between 2 rings of burrs, creating a fine, consistent powder for the ultimate frothy coffee. These high-end features also come with 30 grinding degree settings and can be individually adjusted to your preference.

Portafilter

The programmable portafilter is embedded into the espresso machine, allowing direct grinding from the machine itself. With the fresh beans container being able to hold a capacity of 250g beans, you can create multiple coffees with ease and in a quick time! What’s more, the portafilter is programmable to the amount of coffee powder you wish to use and how strong you want your coffee to be.

Electronic PID Controller

The special electronic PID controller monitors the water temperature to a specific degree and ensures your coffee does not have a burnt taste due to a too-high temperature being used. This controller allows you to have full power over your unique coffee brew from start to finish.

The Espresso Barista Pro has many program settings, meaning you can create an array of speciality coffees such as Espresso, Latte Macchiato and Cappuccino. To further add to the capabilities of this machine, Gastroback has integrated a hot water function for Cafe Americano, Cafe Crema and hot water for teas!

Design

With the 2.8 Litre water tank attached to the Espresso machine, you won’t need to worry about refilling throughout the day, allowing you to create multiple batches of teas and coffees for everyone. The featured heated warming plate preheats the portafilter as well as the cups so when the coffee drips into your cup, the heat isn't sucked out of it. A cold cup can also destabilise the temperature of your coffee, creating a bitter taste. A 360 rotatable milk frothing jet is included in this machine and is perfect for maximum, solid foam in your coffees or even to experiment with foam art! Finally, the thermo-block heating system enables your machine to warm up quickly. Warm-up time is important for an espresso machine to ensure maximum performance.
