Energy Balls
One of our favourite recipes that maximises the benefits of leftover pulp is our delicious energy balls. Energy balls are healthy snacks that boost your energy in a quick and simple form. These snacks contain protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and valuable fibre. For our energy balls, we love to include carrot, apple, or ginger pulp, adding a flavourful spin to the recipe.
Ingredients
Carrot, Apple, or Ginger Pulp | 150g |
Cinnamon Powder | 1 Tsp |
Honey | 1 Tbsp |
Dried Fruit (Your Choice) | 50g |
Pitted Dates | 100g |
Dried Coconut | 40g |
Vanilla Extract | 1 Tsp |
Shredded Coconut | As Required |
Recipe
1. Place all your ingredients aside from the shredded coconut into a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
2. Remove your mixture and roll it into the desired energy ball size.
3. Roll energy balls in shredded coconut and place into the freezer until ready to consume.
Soup
Homemade soup always takes the crown compared to store-bought comparisons and is a fantastic way to incorporate a variety of vegetables into your diet. Our spicy tomato soup has a great texture thanks to the added pulp and is perfect for any meal.

Olive Oil | 1 Tbsp |
Onion | 1 And A Half Chopped |
Garlic | 3 Cloves |
Red Chilli | 1 Chilli |
Ground Cumin | 1 Tsp |
Tomato Paste | 2 Tbsp |
Ground Coriander | 1 Tsp |
Crushed Tomato | 800g |
Chicken Stock | 500ml |
Worcestershire Sauce | Just A Dash |
Vegetable Pulp | 170g |
Recipe
1. Cook onions, chilli, garlic, and tomato paste until soft.
2. Add tomatoes and stock and bring to the boil.
3. Simmer for approximately 25 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and pour into a blender.
5. Blend the soup until smooth.
6. Add vegetable pulp and blend until the texture is to your liking.
Vegetable Broth
Vegetable broth is a fantastic addition to many dishes, incorporating a far fuller flavour, and leftover vegetable juice pulp is perfect for creating a mouth-watering veggie broth.

Water | 230ml |
Garlic | 3 Cloves, Minced |
Celery | 2 Stalks, Chopped |

Recipe
1. Place all ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil.
2. Simmer the ingredients for 2 hours.
3. Remove from the heat and strain the broth.
4. Decant broth into airtight containers, ready to freeze.
Granola
Granola is ideal for a healthy breakfast or a quick snack. Our recipe contains around half the sugar of a typical store-bought granola and can be stored for approximately 2 weeks.

Cold Water | 50ml |
Strawberry And Apple Juice | 50ml |
Pulp | Leftover From Strawberry And Apple Juice |
Vanilla Extract | 2 Tsp |
Honey | 2 Tbsp |
Maple Syrup | 2 Tbsp |
Blueberries | 1 Handful |
Strawberries | 1 Handful, Sliced Thinly |
Recipe
1. Add all ingredients (apart from strawberries, blueberries, and pulp).
2. Stir the ingredients together until fully incorporated.
3. Add in the juice pulp.
4. Add the blueberries and thinly sliced strawberries.
5. Spread the mixture thinly across a baking tray.
6. Place into a preheated oven at 200°C and bake for 2 hours, turning the granola every half hour.
Fruit Leather
A delicious combination of chewy and sweet, fruit leather is an ideal snack for everyone. You can create tasty fruit leather from just fruit pulp, or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous, try incorporating some honey and cinnamon.

1. Gather your ingredients, whether solely fruit pulp or with added honey and cinnamon powder.
2. If adding extra ingredients, incorporate in a blender.
3. Place baking paper on a baking tray.
4. Spread out the mixture onto baking paper.
5. Place the baking tray into a preheated oven at 100°C for approximately 3 hours
