Hurom’s Climb to the Top of the Juicer World
Hurom have been producing juicers for many years now, and they are known as one of the best manufacturers in the world. However, despite this, many people aren’t aware of their story, and how much they have shaped the juicing world for the better.
The Invention of Vertical Juicers
Hurom first began back in 1974 as a general kitchen appliance manufacturer with a key principle of producing products that promote a healthy lifestyle. For years they produced all sorts of kitchen appliances and began experiencing success with a high-speed food processor. Then in 2005, they followed and different path and moved on to create the world’s first slow vertical juicer. The unique augur, hopper, drum and screen designs were all designed and developed by Hurom, and to date, all vertical juicers can be linked back in some way to Hurom’s very first concepts.
Hurom Make Juicers for Other Brands
As I have already mentioned, Hurom is at the top when it comes to manufacturing juicers, and for a long time, they’ve been squashing other companies with their skill for innovation. That has held true over many years and has continued recently with the release of the H-AI, the first self-feeding juicer to be released in the UK.
As a result of being at the top, Hurom is also responsible for manufacturing many juicers from other brands. One of these brands is the juicing giant Omega, a company that, like Hurom, is held in great regard across the world. Therefore, Hurom and Omega juicers often end up having many similarities. In fact, a majority of the juicing components in the Hurom HH 11 and the Omega VSJ are the same and are as a result completely interchangeable.
Innovation Starts at Hurom
So, you can tell that if other big brands use Hurom to manufacture their juicers, they must be doing something right. However, what really makes Hurom so impressive is their ability to push on the bounds of juicer design. No Hurom juicer is ever average and each new model produced always serves as a significant upgrade on its predecessor. Therefore, as a brand Hurom play an integral part in pushing the juicing revolution forwards. Recent models, in particular, have shown this in many ways, each allowing for better performance and a more pleasant juicing experience.
The Big Picture
When you stand back and look at the juicing scene as a whole, there can be no denying that Hurom has done a lot for the juicing world. Vertical juicers now make up a large portion of juicer sales worldwide, and Hurom’s first model from 2005 has seen many improvements from many different brands, allowing the vertical style to evolve continuously towards perfection. Unsurprisingly, Hurom is also responsible for the next step forward with their self-feeding juicer, and we at Juicers UK can’t wait to see what they produce next.
