The self-feeding hopper allows you to feed the juicer with minimal effort. This is because the hopper does all of the manual work of cutting and preparing the produce to the perfect size ready to be juiced using an internal cutting blade located at the bottom of the hopper. This allows you to turn whole fruits and vegetables into a glass of refreshing, smooth juice with very little preparation.
The size of the hopper has also been improved from the previous self-feeding models, allowing for more fruits and vegetables to be loaded inside the hopper. This in turn will give a higher volume of juice per juicing session making it easier than ever before to drink fresh juice.
The Hurom H400 has an easy clean chamber with a two-part augur which also performs as a strainer to give fine juice. These two parts can easily be disassembled and rinsed under tap water making the cleaning process scrub-free. The juicing bowl has also been re-designed so that every part of it can be cleaned easily and quickly ensuring that your bowl is clean after every use.
The Juicing Bowl has been designed so that it fits perfectly inside the body of the juicer making the design compact and very contemporary. The bowl also comes with a gauge window so that you can see precisely how much juice is being produced as well as the rich colours of your fresh juice.
Instead of the traditional screen-based juicing mechanism that many slow juicers use, in recent years Hurom has designed an auger-based juicing mechanism. This has massively improved cleaning times thereby enhancing the user experience without compromising yield and juice texture. This is due to the slits in the auger having been designed to be even smaller, allowing for much less pulp in the juice. Yes, The Hurom H400 can juice celery. To maximise yield and juicer longevity, it is best to mix in harder ingredients like apples or carrots to help push the celery through the mechanism.

The main difference between the H300 and H400 is that the slits in the auger are smaller with the H400 than the H300 so you get a less pulpy juice with the H400.
I'm no stranger to juicing but this is the first time I've juiced regularly for weeks and I can't see it stopping. I feel healthier, my sink is clean and my fruit basket is full. The H400 is a quiet beast and fun to use, not jammed yet. The auger is a genius design and only needs a dip and rinse to clean. The juice chamber is a solid build and easy to rinse clean, a short pulp run means less mess. I can fill the hopper and get over 600ml -apples, carrots, celery, citrus, leaves, berries, ginger - it chomps the lot. I like not seeing the pulp extrusion, you can fill the hopper twice without worrying about emptying the pulp, just enjoying the flow of best quality juice from the front of the machine. I like not having to make space at the side of the juicer for pulp, it fits between two other appliances perfectly and it looks super cool! The juice is not overly pulpy imo, it has some body, in a very good way. Not ever felt the need to strain, it's delicious. Another bonus- Sorbet is delightful and needs no accessories -no extra bits and pieces to store away. I have juiced a lot in the past and wanted to upgrade my juicer. I was just about to buy another brand when I watched the very useful videos you produce. This juicer is brilliant. It juices really well but the real advantage is the easy clean up meaning that I will continue to use it. If you have the money, this juicer is a no brainer. I can’t see that I will ever need to replace it as I can’t see what could be bettered.
I’ve been using a different slow juicer for a few years now and it’s been a pain to have to feed the fruit and veg in, the mesh part of the juicer getting clogged up and the cleaning of all the parts taking soooo long. I’d stopped juicing for a bit as such a task and turned to smoothies in a blender but doesn’t hit the mark quite like juicing. I purchased this for mainly celery and carrot juicing - it’s amazing. Low wastage and very simple to use. The most important question … is it easy to clean? Takes me between 5-10 mins to sort. It’s relatively easy as it comes apart and the individual pieces can be cleaned. Comes with handy cleaning brush
Deliveries to the UK are sent with a Free Next Working Day service on orders over £100 that operates from Monday to Friday. This timeframe increases to 2 days for UK offshore islands and Scottish highlands. Deliveries abroad will vary in length depending on the destination, for more specific information please contact us. These include receiving a refund or getting another unit sent out to you as a replacement and shipping the faulty and or damaged unit back. If you have used the product before contacting us, you would need to provide evidence that the unit was faulty before use and did not become damaged or faulty due to user error when using the product.
