Fresh from the popular Omega Juicers brand is the VSJ843R Slow Juicer, a vertical juicer which performs exceptionally on every level. The Omega VSJ843 shares many similarities with the Hurom HH-11 Slow Juicer, with the same parts on the front, the popular 43 RPM dual winged augur, steel Ultem screen for juicing and ease of assembly. Both juicers maximise the juice yield, squeezing out every available drop from a variety of ingredients.
The Hurom model has the added advantage of a control lever to manage pulp which is essential for smoothies and a more compact design. However, on the flip side, the Omega VSJ843 boasts a massive 15-year manufacturer warranty.
The juice extraction process on horizontal masticating slow speed juicers is compromised by only having a relatively small area for the augur and juicing strainer. The introduction of the vertical juicing mechanism; includes a much bigger surface area for the strainer allows the juice to move through the mechanism far more quickly.
Still only moving at 43 RPM, the vertical juicing technology has the ability to extract one litre of juice much more quickly than a horizontal juicer, taking only around half of the time.
An extra advantage to the vertical juicing mechanism is that as you feed the produce in; it’s gripped by the augur and drawn further down, creating an almost automatic feeding device. The device called the food pusher is ideal for use with soft leafy greens. GE Ultem has been used to manufacture both the juice strainer and an augur screw, creating components with are eight times as strong as traditional juicing materials. GE Ultem has the added benefits of being both food safe and BPA free.
Cleaning the Omega VSJ843 is quick, simple and easy: all you need is water. After you’ve finished juicing, just pour in some water and you’ll be able to flush through any remaining pulp left. If you need to dissemble and clean the unit, each part clicks into position with ease making the whole process fast and convenient. As a general rule, vertical juicers take half the time that a horizontal juicer takes to dissemble, clean and put back together.
recently starting making juice. got the lend of a friends omega VSJ843R. Great job easy to use and not much noise. juice is easy to drink and the pulp is v dry. doesnt take long to clean each time, and the 15 yr warrenty says it all v impressed
I use it almost every day for making green juice for my 3 member family. The jug holds exactly 3 large glasses of juice. The pulp is dry. The juicer is silent, pretty fast, and easy to clean. Sometimes it chokes with carrots even if I cut them in small pieces but it is easily fixed if I press the reverse button for a second. Because I juice a lot of green leaves, the black augur has got a tinge of pearly green, even if I washed it thoroughly. I am very happy with my choice!
I've made a few juices now (mostly green ones) and the results have been really good. My previous juicer (JR Ultra 8000s2) I always had to run my juice through a sieve, but with the Omega VSJ843R it's virtually pulp free. If you do like your juice with a bit of pulp though, you can use the juicing screen with larger holes. Two thumbs up from me.
My first ever Juicer, so I really can't compare with others, but I am so happy with my choice after my extensive research. I think it's an excellent purchase for anyone wishing to juice fruit and veg, and with it's long warranty you will have peace of mind to. An absolutely fabulous addition to the kitchen.

I don't usually write reviews but I'm so impressed by my VSJ843R, I love it. I seem to get more juice from my vegetables and it takes a much shorter time to make my daily pint. It's quieter too and so much easier and quicker to clean than my previous masticating slow juicers. I like that the strainer and augur are made from exceptionally tough GE Ultem plastic and that it has a 15 year guarantee. I'd certainly recommend buying this juicer. I also love the free vacuum jug I got with it.
Efficient, easy to clean, quiet, brilliant
Currently loving the juicer, so far I've used it to make some frozen desert, nut milk and most importantly lots and lots of fresh juices. The machine is quiet and the pulp comes out dry. It is also easy to clean and I 100% recommend.
Deliveries to the UK are sent with a Free Next Working Day service on orders over £100 that operates from Monday to Friday. This timeframe increases to 2 days for UK offshore islands and Scottish highlands. Deliveries abroad will vary in length depending on the destination, for more specific information please contact us. Please be aware that orders must be placed before 15:00 to receive them on the following working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the closest following working day instead.

Our Shipping options include free next-day delivery to the UK mainland on orders over £100, orders below £100 would have to pay £6.95 for next-day delivery or £3.95 for standard delivery. If you would like to receive your parcel on the weekend, There is also an option for that, costing £14.95. For UK offshore deliveries, we offer free delivery on all orders over £150 and for orders below £150, shipping may vary from £7.50 - £10.95. If you have received a faulty or damaged product, you can reach out to our support team (support@juicers.co.uk) to discuss your available options. These include receiving a refund or getting another unit sent out to you as a replacement and shipping the faulty and or damaged unit back. If you have used the product before contacting us, you would need to provide evidence that the unit was faulty before use and did not become damaged or faulty due to user error when using the product.
