We are proud to present the Sana Oil Extractor EUJ-702. Juicing is a big passion of ours and this is an innovative attachment that can be used with a range of Sana juicers. As cold press juicers have risen in popularity other aspects of food such as healthy oils from all sorts of nuts. There are many proven health benefits from eating healthy oils and oils such as flaxseed oils can go bad over time and especially when they are not stored correctly. This means that the taste will suffer and also, as a result, the nutritional value of the oils will drop as they have likely been oxidised. With the Sana Oil Extractor you are now able to extract the right amount of oil and because of it's cold press extraction you do see a huge benefit in taste and the nutritional value of the oil.
The Sana Oil Extractor is compatible with the following juicers:
The Sana Oil Extractor EUJ-702 is very versatile and allows user to extract fresh cold press oil from the following seeds and nuts: - sesame, sunflower, pumpkin, rapeseed, hemp, poppy, evening primrose, black cumin, coconut (dehydrated shreds), almonds, pine nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts, cashew nuts, brazil nuts, pistachios and macadamia nuts. As well as all of this it can make oatmeal flakes from oats.
The Sana Oil Extractor EUJ-702 comes with a glass pitcher and a stainless steel strainer. Included are a protective glove and a metal pin to make cleaning easier. The augur and the regulating rings come with a 2-year warranty, and all other parts come with a 5-year warranty.
This is a truly ingenious yet very simple attachment as it is simple to assemble and connect to the body of the juicer with all parts coming in contact with the oil being stainless steel and aluminium. It is a very sturdy and durable attachment as well.
When testing this in-house, we found that most seeds were very easy to extract oil from, especially shelled sunflower seeds (which also proved to be the highest yielding seeds) due to their high oil content. All other seeds that we tried as well such as flaxseeds, hemp seeds which all had amazing results and the aroma and smell from the fresh cold press oil was great. Almonds proved to be a little difficult as you needed to chop them into small chunks for them to process properly, the best way to do this is using a chef's knife and feeding them in slowly. Other nuts like walnuts went through the attachment very well as well ensuring that you simply crush the walnuts into smaller pieces. One thing we enjoyed was using dried coconut flakes; we added a small amount at a time and although it did take longer than the nuts it was very fragrant and the results were great.
To get the best results, we advise that you get the best quality and freshest produce possible. Higher quality does ensure that you get a better tasting oil at the end with a better yield and this difference was significant in some cases. We do recommend to clean the oil attachment periodically (especially the grooves) to ensure that the nuts and seeds flow through smoothly without any blockages. Cleaning the attachment was fast and straightforward, all you have to make sure of is not to get water on the aluminium mounting unit where there is a bearing inside. This part does not get in contact with the oil so should not need cleaning.
For anyone that likes to make their own oil from seeds and nuts this oil extractor is well worth considering. It is not designed to make large batches of oil but for the home it is good for making smaller quantities of pure oil without heat damage. It is well made from quality materials and is easy to use.
the best small oil pressing attachment I have seen.I have the Omega 8006 motor but functions so well with the Sana702 oil extractor that there is no pressure on the motor and is very quite. Can press most oil bearing seeds.
a small device is very good for home use.
